So the other morning, I go out to my car to warm it up before heading over to my gf's house. Everything was good, started right up, but the I looked up and found my dome light hanging in front of my face. The screw tabs on the trim piece busted! So I pulled the lights out of the trim and unscrewed what was left of the tabs. But how was I to hold up the lights? I thought about just unplugging them, but I need the lights! I spotted the roll of duct tape on my seat, and off I went:

It doesn't look like that now, though. I fixed the trim piece with duct tape and a staple :laugh::laugh:

Ah the good old ducktape..Mans best friend..Thats not as bad as this 300Z that some kid used ducktape to close up a gap on his car where the bumper met the fender..Best part was when he painted over it and you can still see where the tape was..

EDIT: you sure this isnt your girlfriends car?..Looks like a pink bunny in the window and something hanging from your visors..LOL.

No, it's mine. The "pink bunny" is the Domino's Pizza Noid, and the "angels" are from my grandparents. Everyone in my family has them. I'm not religious but it kind of means something that they are there...know what I mean?

Maybe I should have you fix my car. We have a new master service technician in western Ma. You're gonna give Aircougar some competition.

Your lights were trying to avoid the Noid!!!!!

So how did the screw tabs break?

I just walked out to my car one morning and it was hanging. One side had broken a long time ago, because it would sag a tiny bit, and the other side finally let go. I think it's because of my subwoofers rattling the car. The vibration is surprisingly strong up there

If you guys are interested, I think you know my number. Zorrex's Duct Tape Performance LTD

Booyah. :D

One of the wheels on my car fell off!

How much would it run me for a performance duct tape job to put it back on the car? Must be lightweight duct tape for performance reasons. I spare no expense.

That might be costly... three or four rolls at least. I'd say ?????$$. It comes with a 20-20 warranty too.

Check with Ian for official pricing though.

Yeah that'll be pretty expensive. I mean, it's rather intricate. I'd say it'd probably cost you about $250 in labor, plus $5 for a good roll of duct tape (not the cheap stuff).
