Who said it was the BEST place? I don't think I remember mentioning that. It was pretty clear what I said. No need to relocate.

Many CEG'rs have replaced their transistor including myself and never NEEDED to relocate it.

You might want to research a little more about the transistor itself. Perhaps then you will understand the reason why.

I swapped transistors a long time ago, but I still relocated my imrc. I just don't think that Ford was thinking that clearly when they decided to mount it on a high heat source.
