I cant, I have a reapint done on my car by macco before i bought it so if I take them off, you will see the poor work..

trust me i want them off too
 
you never know what lies beneath those things! I'm actually going to put those same ding strips on my car because 1 door was repainted and has the dreaded clear coat ridge. At least they are better than the lame flat ones.
 
well I have more like paint tears around those ding guards because of the layer of paint maaco applied without proper prep work..regardless those will still show..It really doesnt bother me to a point where I'll spend a lot of $$ removing it :shrug: I mean my whole paint really sucks so I hafta live with this..

Just get that part of your door repainted :laugh:

I have to get both of my left doors redone. Car looks spectacular goonzy :)

I wish I had some time to wash my car up and take pics. My door isn't perfect but the way it was and the way it is now is like night and day. If the ridge isn't too bad then he can definitely buff it out. We had to take 1500 grit to my door first..yikes! Some guy who was there was like

"whats all that white stuff dripping down"
"That's clear coat"
