My Sunday Project

My little sis drives a manual as well, shes pretty good at it too.

As for Hyundai they make too much crap, thier Tib is the only good one.

Nice job on the detailing. I'm usually anal about my interior but the work you do is amazing.

Gonna have to disagree, This SUV's are getting much better and I personally would be pretty comfertable purchasing a car that has a 10 year 100K mile powertrain warrenty. Thats just outstanding.

I have a friend that has a 1998 Elantra GL, its a 1.8L I4 with an ATX. he has put 160K miles on it and to this day it runs and drives very well. Also has done nothing but regular maitenence, he has never done any suspension work on it either and there are no clunks out of it. Im honestly thinking about buying an Elantra GT when I get out of school because with every passing year their new products get more and more well built.

My dad has an 03 Elantra GT and i think its a great car. the only gripe i have with them is the clutch is rather poor... it feels like the pedal travels a mile before it engages... it could be worn but i doubt it as my dad isnt waht you'd call hard on the clutch. one of my friends worked at a hyundai dealership and said that all the elantras are like that

Yeah their only weak point is the clutch, which generally only last about 100K miles if you baby it its whole life. Good news is a clutch job isnt that difficult on the particular car, and if you run it hard on occasion and get the clutch slipping before 100K, you can get it replace for free becuse of the 100K mile warrenty :D

Hey bill, hasnt the clutch in that Tibby been replaced like 2 times?

The tibby is on its 2nd clutch with 91k on it. The first went out around 35k because 5 people learned how to drive a stick on it. It was toast. Covered under warrenty.

The only thing my ex gf's want from me is a free antibiotic prescription.

Be a man and go find a new girl's car to detail. Just don't forget to cover it up if it leaves the garage ;)

let alone like driving stick...

I met a girl whose dad owns a 1970 Mach 1 Mustang thats a stick. She wants to drive it so badly but her dad basically says "over my dead body"

I met a girl who learned to drive on one of those, with the manual trans. Now she drives a '66 Mustang fastback with a 289. Beautiful car, she drove it every day. Plus she was a catholic school girl. all in all, good package.

Car looks good. Those were some nasty carpets she had.
