Mystiques with Pre98 'tour trunks?

I was wondering if anyone has done this before? Didn't even know how to approach searching... IIRC the pre 98 mystiques have the same backend as the post98s.... Just wondering if anyone has done it....

my car has a pre 98 trunk, i need to buy the tour tail lights to make it look right though, but im also putting a pre-98 tour front end on if that helps you out any

if your question is are the trunk lids the same on a mystique as the 98 and up contour, the answer is yes, same part number through ford and the reflector panel bolts right on.

Yea... I got the trunk part in the stickies and the FAQs... but I just bought the contour outter tails and I need the Bulb socket to make them fit on my 'stique...

i see, i think it would be neat to put the contour tail lights and trunk applique panel on a mystique. i like both trunk appliques. overall i like the mystique the best though.

Yea... I just did some body molding of the rear reflector's chrome strip.. melded it all together to appear smooth.. it came out alright but it looks dumb with the mystique tails with the chrome as well...

yeah i've done it before but took it off later went back to post 98 trunk

Wrong on the bolt up thing for swapping out the reflectors that is .... the 95 Sitque trunk doesn't have the outer most bolt holes for the ford reflector. I did that change to my 95 since I could not only match the color, but the fading too. When I went to install the ford reflector it was time to get out the cordless..... minor adjustments are to be expected..... lol I think that is an only 95 item too.
