I haven't raced in a while (almost 2 years now) but I finally got my bike back (parents stole it, don't ask).

Anyways I've been preparing again for MX. Running, lifting, protein ect.

Just wondering if anyone else here races either NESC or NEMX.

I'm probably going to run both series to race the tracks I like the most (Southwick and Jolly Rogers FTW).

We seem to have a ton of New Englanders so I figure theres bound to be somebody.

I think most of us on CEG are either too fat or too lazy. I for one am just too old. I'd probably break something.

Seriously no one even rides?

Lots of older guys race NESC.

I used to trail ride with a 65 year old. It took him a solid 5 minutes to mount his KTM but once he was on it he was always right there with us.

I used to riide when I was younger Haven't been on a dirt bike since like 1983? Wouldn't mind taking a spin in a pit or trail riding if you have an extra one .

Where do you ride, from what I know there aren't many spots down in Mass left.

I used to ride at Clough's State Park every Sunday a few years back. Some of the best trail riding in NH if you haven't been there.

If it makes you feel any better, I rode an ATV for the very first time last weekend. Never been on a dirt bike.

You guys need to get dirt bikes!!! They are so cheap and fun. And they are awesome exercise.

I'm really suprised no one races though. There's gotta be somebody.

I couldn't disagree with you more. I <3 my bike, it's light and nimble and not big and clunky.

I used to live for this. Motocross has a wayyy bigger crowd that basically any form of racing in New England. And I prefer sleds and snowboarding in the winter.

Hahaha maybe a circle track with a 250 bike against a 450 quad.

I have actually been thinking of doing ice racing in the winter on my bike, but I think the guys that do that are legitimately insane so I'm a little hesitant.

Do you honestly think a ATV would be faster on a course like Southwick?

I've done ATV's in the woods, then up steep grassy hills etc. They are awesome. I got so filthy because this guy took me on one going through the mud and dirt. I loved it. I was covered from head to toe haha. I was holding on so tight because he was speeding through and even did some wheelys with me on the back HAHA!!!!  . THAT'S THE MOST FUN I EVER HAD AND I MISS THEM

yup i know for a fact its only about 10 min away.. sand helps the atv's a lot... unless your a "proish" your going to get beat by a b-class atver.. my first time riding crow hill i was right on the tails of the a-main riders on a stock 450r
