Cracked my front slipper molding reversing out of the garage into massive divets the other day. But yeah, still have more things to do. Head gasket apparently cracked after the dyno, next time I started it blowing smoke hard. Gonna do the rear head gasket with engine in. :shocked: Alternator failed on the dyno, which is good, because it has been the source of boost break up past 14psi as of lately, from what I see. Well know soon. Car is dirty. Before you ask this dyno was mainly to tune tip in and a bunch of spots I cant hit on the street. Still have to do more tuning and go back for power pulls.
Thanks man! I originally planned on doing The retrofit over a weekend with black shrouds. When I encountered problems I had lots of time to work on other parts and decided to go red and add more parts.
Thanks fuz! Your wheels make it. My splitter is being an absolute •••••. Major gel coat failure that doesn't show till I paint. I'm just a perfectionist and the hairline cracks piss me off.
I have some lowering springs that I wanna put on within the month.
And I'm pulling the fiberglass door panels and woofer box to rebuild them to make them more integrated. And a little exhaust work too. And painted the calipers and rotor hats.
I have a month grace period before I'm full time work again, so it should all be done soon.

Awesome work Berkel! What lowering springs are you going to throw on?
Truthfully.. I don't know what they are lol. They were rusted over so I grinded them down and repainted them.
I asked everyone and the coil pattern doesn't match any other spring people have
I was told they were Eibach Sportlines which equal "slammed".. but AFAIK no one has put sportlines on the SVT. I've just been hesitant to put them on and have them be the same height as my BAT springs

Haha yeah that would be very upsetting. I think your car would look amazing slammed. Hopefully those springs help you achieve that.
Thanks man. I've been working on this mirko. It's been having massive gel coat failures since it was shattered in 3 pieces so I keep having to rebuild sections of it. Ideally I want to be lowered with this lip on before July.
In July i'm pulling out my fiberglass box and doorpods to refinish them. I also did some exhaust work last week. I'm gonna get 4" tips in about 2 weeks. After this summer I'll be done for the summer as far as body work goes.
I've never progressed this fast with a car. It's only been a year and almost everything is non-stock
I might sell it in a year or two.

Interesting choice with the mirko. I honestly think I like your car more without it, but it's definitely different so you've got to respect that.
Nah that's what I currently have, BAT's. I'm hoping to get rid of most of my wheel gap with the new springs.
The mirko is definitely a weird one. Gets lots of interesting looks but I like it. I'll probably only run it for a few months.

Springs "might" be done in 2 weeks. And then once I get the splitter on I'll have a shoot. I might remove my taillight tint too. My car changes looks on a weekly basis lol
Yeah you can see them on his car in the website banner! I'm still finishing up, but I'd say it takes about 3.5-4 cans, so about $30
