The 2008 race season will be kicking up in the next few months, and I got this CRAZY idea that maybe we could plan a future meet or two around an SCCA autocross event.

Set up a CEGer tent, nab some folding chairs, cooler of beverages, and grub. Be fun I think.

Thoughts?

I'd be down, heck, ill even race! I'm not afraid to lose to gulfcats cougar!
 
OK then. I just joined SCCA so I can get all the latest schedules, announcements, and misc junk.

Equipe Rapide in South Florida also has an autocross setup that you can run without membership - 'bout $30 or $40 an event. Fun stuff but the people racing that I saw last year were dangerous to themselves... :rolleyes:

CEGers could take over that organization, or at least own the track on event day.
