Listen Kyle I never said I wasn't thankful for what you have got going here for us and I in no way talked bad about you... I just suggested that it probably would have been better to get the development finished before taking orders. So don't get all flustered.

I just have a feeling that this fifth hose design isn't on the top of their priorities even if you do have 20+ people buying it. So I want to make sure that we keep on top of these guys so we can ensure that things are getting done. I guess the bottom line is I don't trust that they shipped it. You have to think numbers on something like this. How many people out there will be ordering kits for the 2.5L Contour/Mystique after this order is placed? Now how many people will be purchasing kits for the new Mustangs, Camaro's, etc. They have priorities on new designs and again I doubt the Contique platform is one of them. I just won't take their word on it that it was designed, built and shipped and sit around for a month waiting for it to show up. Keep tabs on them man. Just my two cents...
 
to keep the b*tching down on here, i ordered my hoses from europe a couple days before this GB started. i still have about 4-5 weeks until they're at my door. i paid $100 more than you guys, and i have the mondeo 5th hose. so quit complaining!!! it could be a lot worse for you guys. kyle has done a lot to get all of this arranged. you'll all get your hoses.

what you are still forgetting is that Kyle went above and beyond to get the 5th hose made ... it was to be a suprise to everyone in the group buy that hey, you have 5 hoses that actually work not just being able to use 4 of them .... the group buy was going down either way, the 5th hose is just a bonus. and either way we have to wait ...

also they wouldn't have developed the contour kit if it wasn't for our interest so your talking about a catch 22 anyway ....

Well, spoke with my rep, and Samco has dropped the ball on it. My rep is going to be calling Samco for me in the morning, and I will get with him tomorrow afternoon! I will keep you guys posted, and although it sucks, it will be figured out tomorrow!

Yeah, Im really pissed at the moment as well, but today I will be calling everyone again. My guy didn't know that I was harrassing him cause orders were already taken on my side... so hopefully knowing that lit a fire in his arse yesterday as well!

This is why I said what I did... I'm glad you followed up with them. Hopefully they get there stuff straightened out. I want this on my car before SZ08.
 
I could really use these now as I had the upper radiator hose blow out on me today :mad:


luckly aircougar has so many extra parts I already have a hose to use for now ... just need to install it ....

Yea I hear ya. My lower radiator hose has a slooooowwww leak and it's becoming annoying.
 
Any info with this? It has been almost a month since the cutoff date and no great information between your distributor, Samco, and us!

Yes, I actually have some good news!

My guy has the prototype in his hands, and is shipping it to me today, and will be getting me a tracking number today or tomorrow...By friday, I will have it test fitted, and as long as it fits properly, will be placing the order on monday!

I will get pics posted as soon as I have the hose!

any idea of how long it will take to get them after the order is placed? I am getting in desperate need of these hoses ...
