Official Spotted Thread

Spotted one helluva good looking SVT at my hockey tournament this weekend at the Blaine super rink. I spotted it on Sat around 4pm. It was an SVT painted blue and had a custom ram-air hood on it. Was missing both of it's passenger side jack covers (only saw the passenger side) Had a large SVT emblem in place of the Ford emblem in the front grill (just like the car pictured below). The hood looked something like the Andy's Auto Sport car showing their body kit.

Saw a SF CSVT pulling onto I-90 eastbound on the eastern edge of sioux falls. I slowed down as they were pulling on so I could stay behind and look for any distinguishing marks. Had a little mess on the drivers side rear bumper, but other than that, nothing special.


Sadly, shortly later, I got pulled over for going 71 in a 65 when I sped back up to match the flow of traffic.... not that there was much traffic. WTF. The officer walked up to my door and said the reason he pulled me over was because he clocked me going 71 in a 65..... I kept myself from laughing as I automatically translated that into, "I pulled you over because you are driving an older truck with super dark tinted windows and a big chrome push guard so I figured it would be some redneck kid who might have some unpaid tickets, not a guy with a perfect driving record on his way to the salvage yard for a transmission."

Seriously though, that would have sucked to get a ticket for that. I have a class A, and I don't want to have to pay to retest.

If you would have hung around longer you could have witnessed the drunken mullet burnouts out of Porky's parking lot. Cops must have had the weekend off for the fishing opener eeerr somethin'. I only saw two cops the whole night!

On a side note. Shoulda seen this guy do a smokey burn out, whippin' it sideways...so much that it appeared he was shootin for 180 right back into the Porky's parking lot....course, he woulda creamed about 30 people standing in the way had it happened. Could almost read the headlines.....

saw a very good condition E0 Silfro in Willmar, MN earlier looked stock but very well taken car of! it was parked at a house.
 
Saw what looked like an electric blue SVT heading North on Hwy 65 at roughly 9:20am this morning. Had a hood scoop, but was missing jackpoint covers. Over all, it looked decent.

Same car I saw in the post above when I went to a hockey tournament at the Blaine Super Rink.
