Part Number for Clear Turn Signal

Does anyone know this off hand? I started my clear corners and I want to run for bulbs this afternoon, but I'm not sure if Advance has them or not.
 
No no no! lol

I know that you can get clear turn signal bulbs that blink the standard amber color. I just don't know the part number or where people get them.
 
Silverstar 3457.

I've never seen any CLEAR bulbs blink amber. Only silver bulbs with amber light or Silverstar which is sort of clear.
 
well, mine are chrome plated but light up amber..is that what your talking about? :shrug:

Those aren't clear??? I must be calling them by the wrong name, sorry about that. I guess you could say they are "blue" because of the glass.

But yes that is the part number I was looking for. Amazingly The silverstar site doesn't have a very good cross referencing section and I couldn't match the the amber bulb I have in my hand to their diminsioned drawings. :crazy:

these are also what I have. They really look the best. They camouflage so well during the day and light up amber when on. Best part is you don't get the whole reflector housing looking bluish as you do w/ the silverstar ones. I hate that!
 
you can get them here. they are about 1/3 the way up from the bottom of the page. look for the blue BMW

i love that site. everything from HID's to LED's to silver bulbs

thats where I got them!!

Im now thinking of converting all my turn lights and brake lights to LEDs..with proper resistors
 
I think I'm gonna go with the silver ones that goonz has :) They look better then the silverstar ones!

Any problems with them? i.e. burn out after XX months? I may or 4 just so I have a back up set.

Ive had them for a year or so..no problemo..:eek:

And I still don't know what kind of Silverstars I'm going to get, check that thread out! :crazy:

SON OF A.....! those are like $2.50 each. My Bimmian ones were $25 for the pair. Oh well I should have looked harder. They were actually an after thought. I went to their site to buy number emblems for my production # and decided to kill 2 birds w. 1 stone. Yea that worked real well. Ha
