Photoshop contest $150 paypal'd to winner

Man, I think I came off on the wrong foot. I was just discussing cool things with WorldTour and he brought up a good point about your post (I didn't read anything beyond your rough draft and assumed.. lol) so...

Forgiveness.
Here's my shot:

I will help a fellow ceger out. Im going to miami this weekend, if I get some time I will see what I can put together. If you need some web work done. Im sure we can work something out.

Had a few minutes today, so i came up with this real quick. I might mess around with a few more if i get time before sunday.

Hey man where's your logo pic? I'm eager to see that!
Could just be FF not displaying it for me.

Ive got some time and Ill give it a crack.....You are going to want it made in Illustrator. Your logo needs to be able to grow with your company. Yeah, you think that you will just want internet marketing ,next thing you know you are talking to a guy and asks you for a business card. Then people will want to do local pick-ups and you find out that a buddy is an ace at installs. Now you need a Sign. See where this is leading.....

If you get a PS design, it will be more time and $$ for someone to turn it into a vector file. That and if the work has filters and blend they might be able to be accomplished in Illustrator.

Im not trying to be condescending, from what i read throughout the post i figure an explanation was necessary.

What he said. And you want something simple that people can remember. Most of the logos going up (besides pre98) are very complex and have many colors. KISS.

I was gonna make one but after finals today I'm going back home and not bringing my computer with me :)

Apparently you guys know what is best. Graphics has never been my strong suit. It is very obvious that there is a lot of talent on this forum.

ding ding ding, tourenvy is the winner. Simple, creative and effective. It grabbed my attention immediately.

while i like TourEnvy's design, i think its a little too busy for a company logo. i DO like the idea of having the actual turbo acting as one of the letters, that's pretty cool. it kind of limits your options though when it comes to certain things like vinyl lettering or embroidery. i know just about anything can be done but i think it would more difficult/costly. KISS!

figured i'd throw my proverbial hat into the ring :)

oh, and it's in vector format, so it is infinitely resizeable to whatever you may need.
