This hasn't worked out very well the last couple of years, but I don't give up easy. Anyway, I just wanted to let you guys know that I will be attending the Portland Auto Show on Saturday the 26th. I will be parking in the usual spot (Lloyd Center parking lot in the SW corner). I will be there around 9:30 or 10:00 am. I will be with a friend or two & we'll only hang out for a little while (unless people show up) before we head over to the Auto Show. Let me know if you want to meet up.

shotwell- I'm not positive, but I believe it's around $10. I usually round up some discount coupons from a dealership, but they're only a dollar off. If I find out anything for sure I'll let you guys know.

I'm really interested, and will check in with some other gear heads to coax them too, and maybe also Ameshia and her son, he needs to open his mind to more than dirt bikes and monster trucks, although he did enjoy the drags last May. Assuming I'd go on Saturday morning, that SW Lloyd complex parking spot sounds good.

Let me talk to the wife and see if I can afford to take the time off. We went last year but we didn't know the area and had no idea where the Lloyd center was. We know where it is now. May try and make this year.

Thats sounds pretty cool but iduno, i live in WA Tacoma area. So its a bit of a drive.... But the 26th huh. ill see if can come.

Bah, Tacoma. I'm driving down from Oak Harbor! ;-)

I need confirmation on exactly where the "usual spot" to meet is. I know how to get to Lloyd Center, but I don't know exactly where to go. I doubt some of the non-PDX folks have any clue where Lloyd Center is either. Also need a solid time. I'll be there...maybe even in my SVT!

At the far South and East corner of the Lloyd Center complex, across the street from the outdoor theaters and close to Sears, the eastern-most store in Lloyd Center. I want to guess that is close to NE 15th Ave and Multnomah Street. I expect to be there with Ameshia and two wound-up boys at 10 am Saturday in that parking location, then walking from there to the convention center where the show is, admission is $10 for adults without discount coupons. I am still trying to catch up with ex-cobra owner Pat and his brother Dan.

Thanks PDXSVT. Those directions & ticket prices were perfect. I still plan on being there around 9:30 am. I will have a friend with his '08 Scion xB there too. I have also mentioned this meet on Focaljet so we might get some of the Focus guys/gals there as well. I will let you guys know if I can round up some discount coupons from any of the dealerships.

Trying to get some one to cover my shift on Friday night. Not to excited about driving 280 miles in the morning and When I get home from work at 3am.

Ya, but that's 280 miles standing on your head! I-5 is an easy drive! At least you don't have to drive off Whidbey Island.

I'm going down Friday night.

Well, it looks like after I talked all that crap I jinxed myself. I had a major unforseen expense yesterday, so now the funds aren't there for the trip. Damn.

Take lots of pictures guys!

I am still planning to be to Lloyd Center by 10 am. Right now it's just after 8 am. My cell 503-939-0842, I will have my fiance and two 9 yr old wild guys in tow.

The Jarhead and I are planning on being there at 10, and PDXSVT I'll bring an extra roll of duct tape......

Hey we could put the Jarhead in charge of the wild guys and enjoy the show.....lol

Couldn't make it...too much snow!
I'm glad we stayed, though. It woulda been a miserable drive.
