Sooo, yeah, I didn't quite make it there on time... I did go in the afternoon though, and spent about 3.5 hours there. I coulda stayed longer, but I had somewhere else to get to.
28K for a micro car?! That's like 6K more than the CSVT cost!!

Where's the picture of that spec board for the 5.0L Lexus with the EIGHT SPEED transmission??? I like how that model dodged the question of what's with that car that you need 8 speeds on your tranmission to be able to drive it.
And why was an underpowered Lotus Elise shown next to a 205 mph Ferrari?
If I figure how to upload pictures, I might have some pix of that Chev Camaro concept, the Ford Reflex, and the SC'd Super Chief p'up, maybe with blurred kids running inside the "keep off" ropes. That SC truck made me wonder if something like a new version of the SVT Lightning is being considered.
And Woogie/Aaron, thanks again about the entry passes.

PDXSVT- You guys are more than welcome for the pass . I'm soooooo glad that you, your family, & Aussie were able to join Dahren, his boys, & I. We really had a good time & I look forward to having some more get togethers with you guys when the weather is nicer.
On a side note, my buddy Dahren said he wished that he could get his CSVT back so he could get it into a couple of meets with us.

So PDXSVT and I were standing there looking at this car, and the girl you can see in the pic comes over and asks us if we had any questions. Well we at the time were discussing some of the info on the placard and I just ask a question about it....... I don't think she even said a word... she just turned, went over and sat in the car until we left...... Now if I thought we'd get a response like that there are a lot of other questions this o'l sailor could have asked ...... and after all she propositioned us.....lol
OH the question! "why do they need an 8 speed transmission in this car when it has 463 hp, 375 ft lbs of torque and only does 180mph? Why do all that extra shifting? Ok so I guess that's really two questions.....:laugh:
I tried to play with it and clear it up a bit some of the info on it sounded like a Attorney had written it, and it sure took one to read it.
This gets down the road a bit better anyway

One more. This one was kinda weird. It's not a good picture, but this was a lady in some type of tree costume & on stilts. It was kinda creepy to watch her moving slowly with awkward motions. I guess you just had to see it to understand.
