Every one I've seen in a scrap yard has either been beaten up beyond repair or the cupholders are all missing or all jacked up. I have to have cupholders in my car. I could never find one in decent or good shape and intact working cup holders. I've heard the nightmares about all the different versions of cupholders so I'm not going to grab one unless it has working cupholders and is in decent shape.
Looks like its going to be stock SVT console w/ upgraded cupholders for a while.:bah:

thanks. ouch, i work at a GM dealership so i could prob get it a little cheaper with my discount. still dont wanna pay that much for one....junkyard here i come

Not as of yet. I still have to paint the cover to match the rest of it. I got the single cup holder installed just not the cover. It's to cold to paint in the garage and I'd rather not paint in my basement again because the fumes just go through the house and it gives me a headache for hours.

hey CSVT49 i traded my remaining paint (i know, i know) for a pre98 shifter boot, and he threw in an extra boot w/o the plastic too! looks sweet now man!

Haha. Well sounds like an ok trade. I personally would have tried to purchase a 98 Mercury Mystique shift boot, which should still be available. That paint is worth a little bit more then a shift boot I would think. :shrug:

well i was after the bezel more than anything, since we were having such trouble finding one that fits. im happy with it, and i dont plan on having to paint any more interior parts on my car, so i figured i'd better give CEG some love with it.
