I had a tan cloth interior in my old SE and the dash didn't match the door panels, the tone was different, comon accurance IIRC. Do the SVT's have the same problem? I'm interested in installing a modified tan SVT interior in my MNB car, does the dash match the doors in the SVTs?

yes every tan svt i have seen has the darker dash and lighter door panels including my own...probably a poorly thought out glare reflection thing from the brilliant ones at ford...

I never understood this. It seems to be something that Ford started doing with the '98 update. My Greystone dash is off-color, everyone's SVTs are as well. However, the grey dash in my '95 parts car matches the doors, and the navy blue in my '96 also matches. I don't know if Ford was trying to add "visual interest" to the interior by changing colors, or what the deal was.

Does ANYONE have a (stock) matching dash/doors in a '98+ ?????

The dash, steering wheel, centerconsole, etc are a darker brown color. I never thought it looked terrible. I think it woul have looked bad ass in black though.
