How much do you guys (and gals) think it would cost to get this fixed?

i got a daul exhaust in my garage.... its cat less too. Pretty easy to make true duals again!

where is that, at the split in the exhaust??

you should just install the Trubendz that i GAVE you.

I believe that's the pipe that replaced the resonator.

Yamaha Racer bought the Trubendz, and I bought these off of him.

really? just a crappy weld i guess. that was the one and only time i let that douchebag work on my car...kinda ironic considering he was blabbing about this sweet custom work he just did on his race car.

i'd check the rest of the system before doing any fixing. i mean, it's gone 8 years.

So you've never personally worked on the exhaust on the car?

If not, then I guess he's the one who also broke the studs on the flex pipe area.

I8RICE noticed that when he was changing the oil.

As for the rest of the system, I'm not too worried. I just need that part mended. As long as it can hold out for a few more months then all is well. I need to get the headers, Y-Pipe, and the glasspack...then I'll probably have the entire thing worked on.

I don't think my mechanic does welding either. I'll have to give him a call to find out.

I'm hoping Dan will chime in with a good place to go to that doesn't charge an ass raping.

i never did. the studs probably got broken more recently when i had the oil pan gasket changed. exhaust has to be dropped and i know that the bolts where the y-pipe meet the rest of the exhaust were rusted to hell and were a beotch to get off...and then had to be replaced.

Dit it totally seperate , or just spring a leak ?? If it's completely broken , it's a bit more complicated than just welding it . There will be no overlap to give strength , and in short time will crack again , right next to the weld .
Have the straight pipe removed and a glasspack welded in place , instead of wasting time & money with the temp. fix . Then weld the Magnaflows on once you've got the $$$ saved up .

if that hole's as big as it looks it probably was that way when i gave it to him (sorry) there's no exhaust getting in the car.

Well there's a good exhaust shop owned by one of my dads really good friends that only charged me $100 for a full cat-back on my tempo, they were all just stock parts, but $100 for all of the exhaust parts and the muffler and labor is pretty good.

There's only one problem, the shop is outside of Tunkhannock, about a 45 minute drive for me in the opposite direction from you.

Well, it just abruptly got loud Saturday. Loud like, "This is too ****ing loud."
