Quick question

I was reading the strut removal FAQ and my Haynes book and was wondering if I just needed to replace the springs, do I need to fully remove the strut?

Anyone with any hints/advice to make the job easier is welcome too.

Yes, you will have to fully remove the entire assembly.

The struts must be disassembled to remove the springs and they cannot be disassembled on the car.
