For those that don't know, I help crew for a Koni Challenge racing team running mustangs. Part of what I do is manage the video stuff for the team, including in-car video.

This last weekend, one of our cars, the Roush Performance sponsored Rehagen Racing #59 Mustang crashed at Mid-Ohio after a front suspension balljoint failure. Dean Martin was driving, with his Co-Driver, Jack Roush Jr. having finished his stint earlier in the race. Dean was unhurt in the crash. In fact, Dean had done double duty during the race, starting in the #52 Piloti sponsored Rehagen Racing Mustang, and finishing in the #59. The #52 went on to win the race.

Below is a link to a quick video I made from the in-car footage of the crash.

Sound please.

No sound unfortunately; I may revise the video though to add a soundtrack. Both microphones on that video setup are blown from the wind noise inside the car at speed; still trying to find something that will work for longer than 10 minutes.

lol

slick move though, i thought he was gonna hit the guy in front of him. i assume he's ok?

Yup, if you read my original post, I siad he was ok, and it says it in the video description on youtube as well.
