...but... it is back together?

The back seat bottoms are staying to cover a hideous attempt at swapping a fuel pump courtousy of the only trip to the dealer my car has made. seething anger.

and the floormats are there to accentuate the missing carpet.

The car could be back on the road this weekend if need be, I'm in no hurry, when its done, its done.

Oh, I spy three pedals and a shifter.

yaaa, their fake. The tranny is not ready to be dropped in, and the engine is non-existant at this point [current one is minorly cracked]. So unfortunately the project is halting there for a while.

That didnt stop me for putting in the linkage anyway so I could sit there for an hour and fake shift while making engine noises while drunk. but hey, we all have our guilty pleasures.

I've done that more than once in the track car already.

Wait wait wait....how did you get the Jaguar X type ignition tumbler to work?

 your an observant one. its plug and play. .... you didnt know that?

yes that is a cylindrical jag key, completely operational including remote. Its not just the ignition, its all the tumblers.

well first I took out the old tumblers, then I put in the new tumblers. then I went through the PATS reprogramming proceedure. the aristocrats!
