I'm getting a buzzing/humming coming from the driver side rear at 45-60 MPH. It goes away after 60 but it's pretty annoying. It's not too bad in the winter when I have the studded tires on, they make enough noise on their own I don't really notice it. Anyway now the summer rubber is on I NEED to fix whatevers wrong. Am I correct, is it the wheel bearing? If so are they available at my local parts store or dealer only? Also should I change out BOTH at the same time? Lastly how hard are they to change out? Last fall fall I pulled off the rotor to take a quick look when it started making noise and it had multiple lock washer type flanges and spacers with tabs on them. Are they supposed to be replaced when removed? Any and ALL help wpuld be greatly appreciated. I've never messed with anything on the suspension yet. I am a decent shadetree wrench and have done ball joints and wheel bearings before, just not on this car. Thanks

it could be a wheel bearing, there isnt much in the rear that spins. it could also be something vibrating, although im not sure what.

if its the wheel bearing, or you just want to replace them, your local parts store can get them (they come as a hub/bearing assembly). they may not have them in stock but they can order them and have them the next day usually. to replace them, check out my post in this thread, they are really easy to replace.
