How do I find out production number for my svt?

OK this may be a dumb question but I am going to ask anyway. How can I tell what the production number for my SVT is? Of course I have the VIN, but is there anyway to match that to the production number?

The only way to know for sure is to call svt and get them to tell you, whats the date on your door? you might be able to narrow it down a little bit.

Great !!!! Didn't Ford give you the production date too!! Yours is a late 1998 ,making it a 1998.5 (1/2) Can come in handy when lookig for parts maybe.

I asked for the production date but he said I would have to pay $40 which would give me a certificate, etc. I figured out from the registry that I looked at that it must be a 98.5. What are the major differences between a 98 and 98.5? I know the wheels are different. Didn't know what else. Also, when ordering parts should I tell people it is a 99?
