It's been a blast & Spring Zine was great...but the Contour needs more T.L.C that i can give it, so i've Donated it for a very nice tax write-off!

ranther than putting $$$ into needless upgrades, I can put that cash into my new toy.

Woah, sweet Lumina!

You can totally trick it out with some white underbody neons like a friend of mine back home... except his is gold, otherwise identical (and stock). Lots of panties will get wet when you pull into the parking lot and kick on them neons!

Troll around on CEG i thought i could leave but i just cant..I have'nt found another Forum like CEG CEG is the best ive found..
And yeah seems like a downgrade to me IMO..Look for a SVT there pretty cheap now..

No, getting a pre-98 contour was a major downgrade, it was a poorly made car that was too hard mod & too costly to fix & i'm happy to be soon be rid of it. I'm still kicking myself for beliving like a moron I could fix/mod-up this lemon up & still be happy....but that's what i get for being an total A-hole.
& about the SVT....I can't drive stick...so I'll never know how good or bad an SVT contour is....

I could---But No, at SZ...many of the folks I talked to ( saying no names--you know who you are ) were ranther pissed off that there were non-SVT's contours at SZ, and the overall feeling amon most was...."CEG & SZ is for SVT contours only".

Those with SVT's have a great thing with CEG, but I can't relate to something i've never been behind the wheel of...so no...i'm out of here

however you "might" see me on the "other site" from time to time since my cousin as a 99 LX as a projet car for his classes at Rock Valley College

You couldn't have been talking to a CEG'er if they said that.
or if it was a a CEG'er it was a newbie jackarse.
CEG SZ has never been just bout SVT Contours, it has always been about Contours in general.

I have een to every SZ since 2002 and it has never been an SVT only event, every year trolls and outsiders are welcomed with open arms (and teabagged respectively).

buy a car with many issues to fix was the problem ... my pre98 is still running strong and I have not had to put alot of money into it.

costly to fix, sure if you take it to the dealer and don't do the work yourself ..... hard to mod, I can give you that one, obviously parts are hard to come by if you don't know where to look and sometime its not easy to get to some things on these cars.


oh and since we are letting it all air out, **** you for slapping/hitting my car when we where parking at the show and shine. There was no ****ing reason for you to pound with your hand on my spoiler to let me know to stop backing up .... a wave of your hands or simply saying stop, etc would have done it .... you may not give a crap about your car but I do really care about mine, the whole reason I spend 4k on the paint! I almost gave you an earful about it on the spot but I kept control of myself ....


have fun with that piece of crap you got there, its a big downgrade from your contour.

scott it would have been more then on if it was you. :) and yes brian i would have killed him. i get pissed when people lean on the car, and it does not have the best paint in the world. smack the whip and well we will just leave it at that. and good luck with the white lumina take pics when the paint starts to peel off and it looks like a cow. all lumina's do that! white is real bad. wait and see. lol is it fast? :)
 
Seriously are you that worried about paint:rolleyes: Maybe you should put your car into a chamber and never drive it. Im pretty sure what he did didn't affect your car at all. Let alone your eleventy billion dollar paint job.

Maybe stop driving down the street a bug might hit your car. Then you will have to keep driving then about a month later you can blow up at him. WOW!!!!!!!!!:nonono:


BTW lumina's arn't that bad. I would take one over a SE anyday:laugh:
