Saratoga Springs, NY Meet

Brian/Jess, that was the fastest Contour I've ever ridden in

That was one of the fastest cars I have ever ridden in, period!!! Time to drain a couple of quarts of oil out of my SVT and take some right hand sweepers so I can justify a 3L turbo upgrade:laugh:

Nice seeing you all again. Looking forward to a Fall meet this year.

It was great seeing everyone also, and thanks a lot Matt R. That was a very enjoyable meet.
I agree Brian's car is sick and I'm glad everyone got to ride in it. Hope to see you all soon and I'll see you next weekend Rouar

thanks for the possitive comments on the car. Just remember when I am done I will be able to double the boost

Thanks to Matt for hosting and picking up all the food and cooking it off. Was a great day to hang out and enjoy the afternoon.

Glad everyone had a good time, and it was nice to meet new people (and old). And getting thrown back in the seat in Brian's car was well worth it. Hopefully we could have another small meet maybe a little closer to Mass so a few more people can come sometime late in the summer.

speaking of the fall meet, make sure you all get your creative juices flowing at these meets and start discussing options.
I believe some of us tossed around the idea of doing the mansion tours in RI or something this year (since no fall meet has been done in RI yet), but we need someone area-familiar to help plan the scenic cruise.

I'm sure Brian and I are pretty familiar with the area since we were down there in March for the weekend. Unless someone else knows it better. I remember that guy Jeremy lives down there, but I don't know if he would want to do a meet

Damn I haven't seen Jeremy post in a LONG time. Where has he been? He had talked about having a meet last year but we never pulled one together.

Jeremy has been having some personal life issues to attend to.
I think Elky has been meaning to get in touch with him via phone.

greg would be a much better person.

Sorry for the late post guys, I really need to get my A/C working although the summer is already nearing its end . It was a pleasure to meet all that went and my apoligies for being late, LOL. Not too sure if my tour will take another road trip for quite but If something else comes up let me know. Hopefully by then I will have some of my mods done .

I've talked to Jeremy, he's moving into a new house or something and it needs a lot of work (kind of like what Elky is doing). I think he's usually free on weekends though. I've been down there a few times, and seen the mansions, and know Newport relatively well. There's a fabulous state park just past the mansions... nice long, curvy road right on the ocean. Only a 25mph speed limit, but still a very nice drive. Excellent spot to watch a sunset.
