yes that is correct, I forgot that fact. However I don't believe I have noticed that much different between my SE and SVT. And the swaybar shouldn't be doing anything when going striaght down the highway.
 
I'm definitely what people call an "SVT Snob". Would I buy a Zetec or SE Contour? Nope.

For me, its more than just the extra 30hp. I enjoy the exclusivity more than anything else. I see Contours out on the roads everyday. But other than mine, I have never seen another SVT Contour, ever.

The swaybar was one of the first differences I noted between my 99 SVT and 95 LX, but that's mostly on turns of course. On the roads I drive on, wider tires seem to make a greater difference.

at first they where the same. then the SVT front struts where revised. And since the car has been discontinued they have been merged together again.

I think I might just drive by ur house and let her bounce off the rev limiter !! Lol guess u couldn't say u have never seen another one then! LOL

I agree. I think I have seen one other SVT in my life. I see at least 2 or 3 contours everyday. Never SVTs though. Its just nice knowing you have a car with very limited numbers ever manufactured.

Exact same here. I've only seen one here and he totalled it out.

Same Here!! Since I got my Mystique, i see way more contours on the road. I have only seen about 2 SVT'S
