I'm new to owning a 2000 SVT Contour. Is there an accesory position on the key? I feel like I'm missing something.

Has it really been that long since I've driven my tour? I remember that the first position primed the fuel pump and got everything else ready to fire, which to me at least, is not the accessory position.
Most cars have the accessory position as the turn backwards away from the run.

nope, first turns radio on, 2nd primes pump for start

The first click primes the fuel pump, and it is also the run position. That is the only position I have been able to move the windows. Not a good design. I still really like the car.

mine clicks twice forward. one is lights and accessories and one is the run position that primes the fuel pump. /shrug. have fun with the SVT grenade
