I live in Redmond.... up on union.... its crazy fun!! my mom was stuck on 405 for 4 hours due to traffic.. and she only needed to go about 10 miles on it!!!

im up in granite falls on mountain loop hwy and it was bad. im looking on get a second set of rims for my car so i can put alterains on them. we drove up to mountain loop hwy and a tree fell 50 feet from up when we were driving i saw it came down. glad it didnt fall on us when we were driving up there. someone was watching us up there.

Glad to hear the tree missed you, contourfreak22! Yikes!

We have just a little snow down here in Portland -- mostly off the roads. Hopefully more by morning, but the NWS radar doesn't look all that promising yet. It is friggin' cold though, and there are icy spots on the streets.

I am glad that the tree missed you! That road can get pretty dangerous!! But still a fun drive.. when its dry and you go twice the speed limit. shame on meee!!!!

well i went up there this morning there was over 2ft of snow in our drive way where we are moving too. had someone make a trail with there pruck a couple times for me to pull it so that was cool. im gonna be looking for an explorer here soon so i dont have to deal with this. ya that tress was like 20 to 50ft away from me when i saw it fall looked like someone cut it in front of me. i think next time i'll keep a chain saw in my car for this special occasion. this was around 11:30 12am when this happened had to turn around and come home. they said 15 trees had fell over on that road. oh ya watch for the hidden cops. theres some that hide by the bridege waiting for you. well right now on that road is just flat ice so i have to go 25 to 35mph on that road.

I didn't get much in Covington at all, but it sure made the drive home from the Seahawks game monday night interesting.

Seeing semis chain up in Renton on 405 was a new experience for me.

My brother drives for Schneider over the road and they told him if he needs chains then he should just park it.

power been out on the mountain loop hwy in granite falls for 3 days. pud was out there last night and we are suppose to be moving there today or the next day. it's gonna suck with no tv and heat. im guessing it's caused but this one tree i see laying on the power line for the last couple days. LOL im gonna get a generator for this special occasion. but anyway the road is still icy out there after 2ft of snow.

We got about 7" in Monroe. It is still hanging around. Last Tuesday it took me 4 hours to get from Woodinville to Monroe on 522 just before they closed it. Here is a picture of the CSVT I took Sunday 12/3 afternoon.

Snow

Snow

I actually considered walking to work (3 miles) on the Monday after the big snowy Sunday, but it was only bad in my neighborhood, where we had about 8 inches of snow. The main roads were all clear.

After work on Monday, I came home and installed my Blizzaks, since the SVT is my daily driver.
