Something different?

Standard single colored calipers are $125 extra.
The orange ones shown ran an additional $30 for the second clear coat stage.

I also have a question regarding these calipers. I am very interested in the front brake kit.

One thing that boggles my little brain is:

Can I only purchase the front brake pads through you or another Wilwood Dealer????

Or can I go to any pep boys/autozone/advance and be like i need brake pads that correspond to and are oem to another vehicle(Such as the baer brake system where I can go request cobra or corvette pads).

Pads for any Wilwood or other aftermarket caliper will be limited to such outlets. It's not exclusive to me and Wilwood. You can also shop "on line" from various sources such as Summit.

Orange is perhaps not my flavor but she's happy.

honestly i like the orange. wonder what it would have looked like instead of red.. oh and for anyone considering buying this kit, i highly recomend it. i put one on one of my CSVTs last summer, and damn! not only does it look amazing it stops soo good, even under hard track use.. too bad you couldnt put that metallic in the red when i bought them though, that would have been pretty sweet..

lot of wasted rotor area. I guess you can't get a "taller" pad on that caliper could you? I guess to cover the entire rotor it would have to be a 6 Piston caliper cuz they have HUGE pads. Tampax sized I think. :blackeye:

Wasted rotor area doesn't mean much more than having your pad and rotor life be a little shorter, and the appearance part of having a clean section and a worn section on your rotor. It doesn't change your brake torque by any appreciable amount.
