Stage 2 Driveshafts

The difference is radial construction and a tread pattern as opposed to bias ply construction in the slicks. Some say drag radials aren't as consistent as slicks on marginal tracks........and yes, somehow they are DOT approved as slicks arent.

so in layman's terms, radials are easier on axles than slicks, but slicks have better grip. gatcha. and to think, i was actually gonna put the slicks on and drive them all the way to the track. that would've been bad:laugh:. thats a fat ticket right?

A regular cop wouldnt notice the differance, I drive to the track on regular tires and swap for drag radials when I get there.

nice one buddy i see u finally got yours, they came in the same box i got mine and like u i didnt want to take them out at first but pulled them out to see them they look quite good, i hope they should take what my car is gonna put out, im not saying its gonna be a 400 hp monsTour but as long as they dont break ill be happy as it did cost a pretty penny to buy them :)

turn down the boost if it's having difficulties handling it. i would only turn up boost when dynoing for bragging rights, heading to the dragstrip, or when someone starts mouthing off at a light. other than that, keep ur boost average and enjoy your ride for a long time:)

that sounds like top advice there, ;) even with 300 or 400 hp thats quite a bit from a stock contour/mondeo, and for such a big car its gonna kick some ass, just like the look on their faces when i burn the boy racers around here

this is what I plan. I am going to run a 3psi spring for now and I have Hollman Evolution RX mbc so I can adjust it on the fly in the cabin

+ one, as id like to know where u got one and how much it cost u, i guess this lets u adjust the boost from inside your cabin instead of getting under your hood of your car, it sounds convinient :)

nice. thats my next mod... BOOST CONTROLLER!!! how much did one of those cost you?

got it off ebay for about $156 shipped

Hallman Evolution RX Kit

This takes the standard Hallman Pro RX MBC and adds a 72 inch cable (which can be cut to length) so that you can place the adjustment knob in the cabin so boost can be adjusted on the fly.

ooohh that sounds pretty cool to have, if i find one im deff getting one, ive brought a turbo timer for my car, gotta wire that one up but when i get this turbo in, but your kit u found there sounds pretty good :)

this guy is selling them on ebay and its the same kit, im waiting for a reply from him as it says to contact him first regarding shipping but i should be purchasing this soon thanks for the info :)

There are MUCH cheaper ways to run a boost controller. And I can see that knob being a hazard sitting there in the cabin readily available to be messed with. Get yourself a 2 stage boost controller, set a high and a low and be safe.
