Started project free SVT today....

Haha. That would require people to spend money. I think you're safe. ;)

LOL! Unfortunately I've been putting off a lot of "firsts". Eventually someone's going to beat me to one of them... :worried:

On another note, both brackets are designed, and should be prototyped Wednesday afternoon.

I gotta say nice job for being first with the Army green, but wow, not what I was expecting from PRT! Can't wait to see it done, but I keep picturing an army jeep plowing around the track!

I helped :D

That was one of the last days I went to PRT to help out.
It will be really neat once all the powder coated engine pieces are in there..... I wonder what color they are :ponder:

calipers, something like this:

I just can't get over that color. I would have thought he would have done something a little more eye-catching like a grabber blue, green, orange, yellow.....some competition color  No offense but when i see that color it makes me laugh a little. It will def. be unique tho, so props for that!

Have i ever let you all down before in the aesthetic aspects of my projects? Trust me, this car will be so mean looking it's note even funny. It is certainly destined for the sinister vehicle thread.

I had toyed with a silver/blue two-tone for a while, but with what this car will be the "Destroy All" look that the army green and associated colors and logos will be down right bad ass. ;)

Once the car is a rolling chassis i'll be taking car of the rest of the paint work so i can finish assembling the exterior and focus on the motor and everything.

I might be ordering my seats soon. Found a deal on a pair of Corbeau Forza II's for $500 with free shipping.

so has the "project free svt" going to change its name to "project GTFO of my way or I will tear you apart svt". Looks like it is not going to be on the road for free......

It's still free at this point, remember the proceeded from sales of parts I have in stock pile go toward the track car funds....I'm not in the red yet. I've only spent about $1200 so far. Hell, I got $600 for an SVT intake conversion kit, and I've got another one her to sell....

LOGO's?!?!?!?!

I hope your getting paid to post logos on your car mang.

They're PRT Logos.....

I think you should just make the car in all shades of matte camo

now that would be hot poop!

kinda like the DC shoes STi's that they made.

we all need to get back to work

That would require having work to get back to. I'd much rather be at home building brake brackets than sitting here at work doing nothing....

Another side not, got the machined parts i needed to get started on the modded forward rear control arms, so working on those this holiday weekend is officially a go.

Sorry Crispers, no camo.

Meh, no work here either. Buy more appliances! LOL. We're off till the new year, which is typical of our company in the 5+ years I've been there.

What happened to if it doesn't make it go faster or handle better...:censored::censored::censored::censored: it!

You dissappoint me :)

You don't need to look good to go fast! LOL!

We already know i'll go fast, might as well look good doing it.

In all honesty with as far as i've decided to push this car in regards to one off fab/design/tech it really is going to be a representation of PRT as a company and it's abilities. Something i will truly be proud to have built. I want it to look good weather it needs to or not. As much as this car is going to be a toy for me, it's also going to be one hell of a promotions vehicle and I'm hoping :fingers crossed: that it will provide me the boost that i need to take PRT to the next level and start pushing closer and closer to making this hobby my job.
