Started project free SVT today....

Started the chassis mods last night. I drilled out the spot welds and knocked the front strut mount cups out of the towers. They'll be flattened, modified, and fitted with true caster/camber plates of my own design.

After they're done, the lips on all the fenders go away. Also hoping to get the new subframe finished up and start on the tubular LCA's and steering mods.

I see you have a motor in it now too, shawwweeeeet! 8------> BOING!

Haha, it's just hanging there because i don't have floor space for it....It's gotta come back out and get some work done(re-plumbing and wiring) before i put it in for driving her around....that's BLKOUT2's motor.

Are you going to reinforce the tower/strut mount? I really like the caster/camber plate design.

I think he is after he flattens out the top. Kinda A-LA mumm style. Granted with that beefy bottom camber plate that might be all the reinforcing he'll need.

progress progress!

Did some work tonight, and i have a 4 day weekend in front of me....so pics and updates should start soon!

wow josh, I would've started with the wire in the cabin, get all the crap out of it, make it nice and tidy and then move on to the engine bay. Thats ALOT to keep sorted out in your head.

The funny thing is.....I've had all this wiring sitting in a box for 2 years. And i still remember where everything runs. It'll be all good.

I see your 2# carbon fiber hood too:laugh:. That thing is crazy lite .
