Stock Shifter Knob

Its falling appart so im thinking of getting a new one. What do you guys think would be a good look?

Go with an 01 Cougar knob, like the Contours, but beter leather and a nice metal plate for the shift pattern. Plus it retains the reverse lock out, which is pretty hard to find shift knobs that work with that feature.

Not really sure on the part number, if you go to a Ford/Licoln/Mercury stealership and ask for it, they should be able to find it for you (whether or not they have it in stock is totally different) should run around $50 or so. If you're not in an extreme hurry, they pop up on E-Bay every ionce in a while.

Make tripple shure they get the right part, when I did this they sent me the early 99-00 cougar knob.

I don't know to be honest. I was told that it was a Cougar knob. I actually bought this off of a Ford Mondeo.

I think the focus inlays are more squared off and have vinyl instead of leather.

i have a round white B&M knob with a button on it, and removed lockout.....but i wouldnt suggest that! (ps. mike, ever used a vaccum on that floor?)
