Stupid Car Wash!!!

atleast your car can fit in a car wash :(

I have the Eibach too.. everytime I go into those car washes the people who run it give me "" looks and tell me.. "Well we're not liable if your car doesn't fit!" .. and it always fits

Your filter got wet. Don't worry about it, it'll evaporate and you'll be golden. Mine does that too sometimes, since I have the GMK CAI extension.

I sure as hell hope so. I drove it again this afternoon cause I had an appt. with the eye doctor, it was still bucking bad. I got back home and left it in the garage for 3 hours more..I touched the CAI piping and it was freakin cold even though my engine bay was warm..I hope tommorow morning everything is fine :blackeye:

Hit it with the hairdryer butt head

i am guessing that moisture from the car wash was getting "sucked" into the airfilter and air filter tube and froze. Now it isn't getting enough air at low RPM's. Like said before, take a hairdryer to it and dry it out just a little bit....and get inside the tube as well to get that moisture out of it.

The "touchless" car washes out here use a blast of high velocity air to "dry" the car. You probably got some water forced into somewhere it shouldn't have gone.

Meh, I dont care what the temp is, my car hits the touchess once a week. I let it idle when in there, rev it a few times before I get into the air dryer. My doors may freeze shut, or I may have a little frozen water on my car afterwards, but it's worth it driving to work and turning heads the whole way when you get passed but a showroom clean sedan with SVT on the side of it..

sounds like a misfire. whens the last time you changed your plugs/wires?

Full UIM/LIM rebuild done a year ago with new Magnecor 8.5mm Wires with new plugs. Its all fairly new.

Hesitation/bucking is gone now. The car sat out last night and I guess it all dried out, this morning it was perfectly fine. I'll try to stay away from that car wash now :blackeye: it did a crappy job anyways

We must go to the same car wash. I went to one today in hartford, no drying, drove for half an hour, turned car off, turn car on 10 minutes later...CEL :blackeye: The car ran fine though (Yes, it was below freezing temps...but it's going to be like that for so long..and my car was so dirty!)
