Svt Lim

There isn't much to the LIM. The differences are in the fuel rail and injectors (and the injector wiring). You simply swap those parts onto your new LIM.

And again, don't be surprised if the only difference is that the new one is cleaner.

Thanks, that's the answer I was looking for. At the very least I'm going to paint it to match the rest of my engine stuff so at least the spare is good for that. And yeah, at least it's clean!
 
In the UK at least (and maybe other European areas), the SVT (or as we would call it the ST200) LIM has a letter 'T' stamped on each of the secondary butterfly valves.

My ST24 was built Jan 00 and has this LIM since it was nearing the end of the production run Ford used this part instead of the standard ST24 LIM.

It has the return style fuel rail, and uses the newer style injector loom and wiring. The injectors are still the standard capacity (beige 17lb I think??? not green SVT/ST200 ones) but they have the SVT style power connector of course to connect to the plugs on the loom.
