Sure, that one is pretty to look at, but how does it sound? I would think mine sounds better (even after being retired from comps for 2 years) than his, but I can't know for certain because I don't know if he ever competed in SQ with it.

Mine isn't as flashy and showy as his, but it was designed to not be. Here's my CA&E article... http://www.caraudiomag.com/v_features/0310cae_1998_ford_contour/index.html

That's a very nice setup. I've never heard the Xtant subs, but I have been looking at them for years.

They do make an airride kit for a cougar so I dont see why that kit wouldnt work on the contour:shrug:

I personally like somethings But not everything about that. the console through the middle is hot. Setup is a bit outta place. and the interior went to some ugly 3 tone cloth setup, EWWWW. Cool idea with the rims matching the steering wheel but the steering wheel looks super ugly like that.

Nonetheless props cause everything that was done to that car looks very clean and installed properly. I like the engine bay/color as well.

Well most of you on here have seen my buddy's car, but his dosent have nearly as much glass on the inside but I think it looks alot cleaner than that blue one

http://www.contour.org/ceg-vb/showthread.php?t=3519&highlight=show

nice car but the blue one has him beat
the custom stearing wheel is gorgeous mine will be sporting something similar at sz
the only down fall to this car is the airride set up
you do not wanna buy a kit it limits the travel peicing together the kit is the only way to go it lets you buy the best of everything and if set up properly will allow way more travel
look at all the tours that have had airride how come none will go this low?

uhm ya i do look in the second pic where its lowered all the way down
but not as much as you obviously
contour can go no lower
tires are bottomed out

thats the thing......somehow
and really what would i gain 1/2 inch
dude you of everybody knows theres no way it could go down any further
and then to cut into it i would have to remove the skirts and bumper cover they sit on the ground now

exactly, only way to tuck more rim is to have more rim.

even then it wouldnt be much different
and the blue car has inspired me i might stick with the chrome wheels and have a steering wheel machined to match

possibly but as far as chrome wheels go i actually like the agressive design and like em or not park your tour next to mine in a parking lot and mine will get more attention every time. the wheels attract you to it
as far as a daily driven car i wouldnt have chrome wheels
you guys have seen my other tours its not a style that i really like
ive never put chrome wheels on any of my cars ever
but in a car show it draws more attention to that vehicle
who knows what ill do
all i can say is the car will continue to evolve
youve got to remember this thing was thrown together in a couple of days before spring zing so as time goes on i will perfect it
i wont go as far as that large counsil in the blue car but fibre glass dash and doors better beleive youll be seing that next season:drool:
so like it or not my car gets lots of attention and it represents ceg everywhere i take it

the only show we entered this year
