i have to get new weatherstripping next time i go to the yard. when i took off the sails, i took off the weatherstripping to see why i cant get it on right. I found that the groove in it is all messed up. oh well. i'll just get a new one for $1

I have many layers of primer, then layers of gloss black, then the SVT letters from Parkedcar (of course), then many layers of clearcoat over all that so that the letters cannot be removed.

Add a few more layers of clear. If you lay it flat, don't be afriad to go a little heavier on the coats.
