I have been having hesitation issues like Kingpin has so I decided to check the resistance on my Magnacores and check out my Autolite XP plugs. So far I've checked 4 out of the 6 cylinders. Currently all of the wires seem to be within specs of resistance ratings but what is odd was the color of my spark plugs. Starting with cylinder 6 it was kind of red on one side with normal black on the other. Then on #5 it had the same effect, but not as much. #4 looked pretty normal. Then when I got to #1 this is what I found, so far the worst (and there is 2 more to go)
I had hesitation issues right after the install of my trans but I thought it might of been bad gas, even though it was only a month old. So upon filling the tank I also ran octane booster with the premium which should have also served as a fuel cleaner but I have no idea if that would have caused this. What might of happened or caused this? I'll be replacing the plugs tomorrow.
BTW: these plugs have ~5K miles on them IIRC
