I was planning on putting my car in the body shop this weekend, but I talked to my friend that works there and he said they're too covered up this weekend. So I've got to wait another week. But wait! That's over a week away; which means I've got time to add another part to my install list. C'mere Boser extension!! Yar!!

You likey? :D :D After the body shop, headlights will be next; followed by suspension, then window tint and black B-pillars. Then I reckon it's just straight peempin from then on!

Or is it just too over-the-top?

Even more WWWWAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!

I started to install my new badgeless grill today. Awesome! NO! It sucks! It doesn't fit for nothing, and it broke several times. I can't believe it! Something on ebay sucks?!?! So I emailed the store from where I bought the grill and demanded (politely - I'm a coward) a refund. I reckon the mod gods don't want me to do anything to the body of the car; which is fine, I'll just fix the fender, hood, and bumper and be stock and clean; no biggie. But wait! If I'm gonna get a refund on this grill, plus I don't want to get fancy headlights without a fancy grill, that's extra money to go towards a super fancy suspension set up! VMaxx coilovers here I come!!

At least the mod gods like my wheels!

Needs more red, though, huh Hector? ;) But thanks, I'm really happy with these wheels. I think I might like 'em better than the 17"s I had on my Contour. :ponder:

Here's a better pic of the hood extension installed. This is the same grill as what I've got ready to install, too!

So this hood extension..I'm assuming it's just a completely different hood right?

How would a SVT w/ fiberglass eyebrows look with the brows molded into the hood like this Hmmm :ponder:

Not good, the eyebrows on the contour follow the hood line. on the VW's the way the hood meets the light makes the boser augen look work.

Nope, a fo' real extension. Now, there are full versions; even a VIS carbon fiber extended hood - but it's super exspensive.

A lot of folks on VWVortex.com use these extensions as eyelids; and they can be modded according to the style you want. You can cut 'em to have a sharper angle over the lights; or add material to make 'em longer or whatever you want.
