Beautiful kid guys, you did good work! Carter's heart rate kept dropping when he was coming out too, scary $hit! As a Dad standing there it can be heart breaking.
 
Congratulations!!!

It's still too weird to think of you as a mommy and a daddy. Officially! But you'll definitely be excellent parents. :)
 
Just got back from the hospital. So very cute and precious. She definitely loves to be held. She makes the funniest expressions too, just like in the 3D ultrasound pics.

Plus I got the lowdown on everything from water breakage til the literal shooting out of the baby.
You gotta love Jess's graphic way of telling a story (I know I do! No one ever tells you the gory details).

They're going to be really fun parents.

TGO, they're all full up on cigars, I can assure you of that.
We bought them a bottle of champagne though. :)

She's adorable!
Take lots of pictures, they change so fast so you'll want to capture as much as you can.

Jess' water broke friday night at 9:15PM and she gave birth at 1:15Pm today to a beautiful little girl.
the birth was a little rough, the babys heartbeat would drop from 160bpm to below 100 every time jess pushed.
once she started to crown it was obvious she was in distress, her heart rate just kept dropping and at around 35bpm the suction cup was used to pull her out.
she was face up with the cord wrapped around her neck twice.
so i didnt get to cut the cord, but making sure she was ok was top priority.
about 5 seconds after she came out her eyes were open and she was looking around.

as kim said, she was 7lb 3oz and she is 19" long.
here are a couple of quick pics.
gotta head back to the hospital.

yes we are home.
we left the hospital around 11AM sunday.
first night home went very well.

she is farting and pewping as i hold her right now.
she loves farting on daddy!
