otherwise stock with k&n filter. not sure I am ready to buy or not, but I still want to look into it. I hear a lot of good about the magnaflow trubendz kits.

Is that good? Or should I go stainless? After I get my CELs handled, I just want to add a nice sound, look, and feel to the car.

how much am I looking at midas or similar place charging me to install a catback kit?

Do some searching on the forums. I have a genuine Borla catback and love it. If you call Midas they will be able to give you a ballpark of what it would cost. They're not too hard to install by yourself either.

Keep the stock exhaust...order a new magnaflow resonator for the center and 2 outer borla mufflers. And pay a muffler shop to install them.

That will save you tons of money!! THis way your paying $180 for the parts...and about 100 to install.

THe trubendz SS kit piping will cost you about $250 more.
If i had to start over on a stock exhaust...this would be my route.

Your stock 2.5 won't flow more then is needed on the stock pipe size...so an upgraded tube size is not needed.

I would like to do the same thing. But what i want to know if i just buy the resonator thingy instead of a kit and pipes would i need 2 outer mufflers? I don't have a csvt just a 2000 2.5 SE. And where would i buy that stuff?

Witch of what would i get there? The aluminized or stainless steel? And where are the borla mufflers? I guess i should mention i'm car smart not performance smart. There's just a million different exhausts on that page i'm really confused:shrug::shrug:
