Thank you LauraSVT. Going to clay that thing this weekend and do some minor paint touch ups. It needs it. I did not have the time for a complete detail job after last winter. I like those wheels as well, only if there was 17" or 18" versionHave SVT brakes and E1's waiting for tires. Once I get decent rubber they go on.

That sure looks like Champagne to me
Yea, I am seeing Champagne too...
There's a good chance they are the same color and have the same paint code. "Pumice" may just be the name they used for '95.
He named it after the Greek word xpwua, meaning color.
The Bondurant cars were taxi cab chrome yellow. Since I miss that car I thought I would throw up a pic:

Well, code is DK "Pumice Metallic Clearcoat" or M6612 and matched at body shop last time as "Pumice effect metallic". Like i said earlier that thing changes with lighting, in the sun it is almost bright gold, when it is cloudy it looks gray.
If you are referring to just the Countour SVT's, here is a breakdown of their color production per year:

Pumice is most definitely not a '95 color, I have the brochure for the '95 and it is not listed, and Champagne is right at the top of the list...

Green was big in the 1990s. Four shades of it for Contour alone in 1995, not to mention tropic that debuted later. I love green. My first SHO was deep jewel green metallic, which had a little bit of blue in it when viewed either in direct sunlight. The car was amazing at dusk. That color got razzed a bit by the SHO community because it was the most common color. But it was also the best color, and when paired with the mocha leather interior as mine was, it was the best combination. The SHO folks who were mean about green can just take that. So there!
I originally set out looking for a black on midnight SVT, but found a tropic green with, of course, the prairie tan interior. The car was in mint condition, had low mileage, and the price was much better that the black one I'd looked at. It was a no brainer, and I'm glad, because the green on tan ownership experience is so much more rewarding.
I should have called this "Ode to green." Just kind of came out of nowhere.![]()
