Often that noise can come from sticky calipers or sticky pads. Escorts were famous for that problem when the caliper slide pins were dry and started to gaul. IIRC there are no slide pins on the rear disc systems on our cars, but if the area of the caliper that the pad backing plate slides on is dry or rusty or if you didn't bother to lubricate that slide area you can have that sort of a problem.
The pads I like on the rear of my car the best is Satisfied Ceramics. The Raybestos semi-metallics would not hold the park brake when cold. The Bendix organics made a strange "squawk" sound when first backing up in the morning.
Go back to brakes basic 101 and recheck your installation. Proper lubrication of the correct places makes the difference between a so-so brake job and an excellent one.
I also have ebay drilled and slotted front and rear and they have been fine.
