Who has acheived the 200,000 mile mark?

Well I just bought a '95 GL w/ 210K miles(zetec 5spd) if that counts. :shrug: It now has 215K.

My SVT was getting close to the 200K mark, but now that I have a DD it's going stay around 180K for awhile...
 
My '99 SE Zetek ATX has 210,000 Kms. Put all but 6,000 of those "clicks" on it. Basically had to replace all 4 struts and springs in it:shrug:, an Alternator and a few trivial things. Odd thing is it has the original battery! Given we get temperatures below zero F here, that's quite the trick!

My '98 CSVT has something like 180,000 Miles on it. (Can't check the actual number, as it's stored elsewhere - away from all the nasty salty roads). Just bought it last summer , and likely won't see more that 5,000 added per year. It has the luxury of being the 3rd car in the family - and MINE! (no kids driving it :shocked: )
 
closing in on 197,000 original owner miles with same antifreeze and fuel filter...will not win a fashion show but I still love to drive it. Would start easily even after sitting in the cold and snow for 2 weeks...car is my baby...

i would recomend you get on that antifreeze and filter.. haha. at least the filter.

thats still pretty good though. radiator cloged at 165k on my saturn with the original antifreeze.

oh man saying how your car has made it that close to 200k without a single problem is a recipe for disaster. You guys aught to start replacing some parts before your cars blow up, read back a few pages to some of the older posts and ask those guys with "trouble free" cars what happened.

Thats why I am glad I always have stuff to fix on my cars, as long as I always know there is something wrong with my car, I dont worry about more things being wrong.

they won't sell me the whole car!! they would rather smash it...:confused:

What? they'll get like 50 bucks for the scrap iron. Tell em you will give em 500 if they are just gonna crush it.

WOW, I would hate to see the inside of that engine! :eek: I'm guessing there is just a bit of corrosion going on in there! How did your car last this long with that lack of maintenance?
 
My gf's 99 SE has 249k. Runs decent. Oil leaks at the valve cover gasket, and maybe a few other places.

oh man...i need to change my oil pan gasket too :crazy:

It leaks....but i'm still not getting big spots...maybe a dime size or smaller every morning...soemtimes none at all :shrug:

But i'm waiting till the next oil change to change it though :cool:
 
about one hundred miles away from 188k..i should be at the 200k mark by the end of this summer D:
 
I am at 75,000 miles, I will be extremely impressed if it lasts for 200,000 considering the stick i give it - still; I'll give it a go.

at first I wasn't shure what "the stick" meant than I noticed the location must be a local slang for:censored::censored::censored::censored: :shrug:

Hard to say why it works but it does,,,guess it is like a can of fruit,,,it lasts forever if you do not open it up,, soon as you do it goes to hell. So I am gonna say judging by how well the car runs still it has had just the right maintenance,,,,
