I still wanted to see what the pudmobile could have done against his car. Guess, I just need to have TRicker race him....should be a close enough compairison.

Anyone bored tomorrow? We have some motors that went to a shipping terminal out in Farmington that we need to get ASAP. Anyone want to drive out there and get them for us? I'll pay. It is about 40miles south from where I'm at (Fridley). Drop me a PM if your interested. I'm really starting to hate salvage yards these days.

Damnit..... Had someone purchase a motor a few weeks ago and is now returning it. The mechanic sounds like a tool box. He said the motor is junk because he can't get compression readings on it. Apparently he's trying to do a compression test by hand which is impossible. You won't get any decent compression numbers if any cranking the motor over by hand. I know the motor is good. He also said he saw some metal shavings in there and didn't want to take the chance. That motor was one of the cleanest engines we've sent out. I cleaned the crap out of the ports to make sure there weren't any metal shavings. I vacuumed it out numerous times and used a blow off gun to get any stragglers out. The owner doesn't know anything about cars so he's listening to his mechanic. As soon as that motor gets back it's going in another car here and I'll bet any amount of money that it starts on the first try, unless the other mechanic did something stupid to it. So frustrating...

^ no return policy

I think you still got a sufficient ride

Wouldn't have done squat ;)

We will probably put up a restocking fee for returns on motors that have no issues plus the person has to pay shipping both ways as you would with any online retailer. It almost seems like something shady is going on with this guy though.

guy probably ran out of money and decided to junk the car. its probably going up on craigslist as we speak lol
