:laugh::laugh:

You and gravel..

How many inch drop is that? Not to be nitpicky but for me thats probably about 1 inch low. I like it without wheel gap but I like there to be the same distance between the tire and fender all the way around. Im very picky.

Well I was going to post some pics that YOU would never have seen coming but I forgot the memory card from my camera is in my laptop at work..:blackeye::blackeye:

And I will probably be over in a bit Joel. Gotta get my lazy arse up and do something.

sounds good, i'll be working out in the garage till probably around 2-2:30. im going to be getting the snow tires ready for sale (from my honda)

Supposedly it's 1.6", but it's about perfect for me. The big tires make it look lower than it really is. I wouldn't mind if the rear was up just a little bit higher, like 1/2" tops. Or if the front was just a little bit lower, mainly this is just because our rear wheel wells come down further than the front does. I don't think my rake changed at all when I lowered it. I think the fronts will settle a little more over time ;)

To put it in perspective I almost get a pop can under the rear of the side skirt, but the car's about 1/2" too low at the front of the side skirt to clear the can.

wth is that thing?

Good question? We weren't sure either

I just looked it up it's the "Morton Sphere"
Morton Sphere
The Morton Sphere, a spherical tank standing near the heavy equipment training facility at the northeast corner of this area was used to store anhydrous ammonia during the GOW days, and was later used by the University as part of the supersonic wind tunnel facility that was the most important functional component of the Rosemount Aeronautical Laboratories. The building housing the wind tunnels and the compressors that powered them was destroyed by fire in December 1976, and the Morton Sphere is the only piece of the test apparatus that remains on site. It should be retained and interpreted as a reminder of the important aeronautical research activity conducted at Rosemount during the 1950s.

its pretty cool whatever it is.

abotu the gravel. ive taken the fiero down gravel, like once since ive owned it. and sometimes, you have to go offroad for the good photo opps!

that reminds me, i should take some pics of my new car :)

Yeah! I've been down gravel a few times, I just go super slow. I don't go down roads with traffic though, so its all good. The previous owners of my car actually drove down a gravel road every day to work

yeah, it happens. one of the things i didnt like about the svt was i felt guilty the couple times i drove on gravel. there are so many good places to explore on gravel. thats why me likes the folks suby :)

well, off to work

alright, here are some shots of the new vw, like i promised. remember, the car is dirty, has a few cosmetic issues, and needs some suspension work done:) in due time :) its a 2.slow golf K2 edition. pw, pl, ac, tinted windows, heated seats, sunroof, a big trunk, but no cruise control or tilt. weird, huh? and the suspension will be getting done before august 9th.

Dealership near me has a 09 Bullit in stock. Car is very meh looking in my book. For the extra $3K they are charging, not worth it. But I did find out about the new glass roofs for mustangs in the 09's as well.
