Lake of the Woods.

just a biiiiiiit out of the way. besides, lake superior is a much bigger lake and you are on top of a nice sized hill to take pics of it.

From Canal Park....a great place to hang out, you would love it. You can see how high up the hill is

"...tried the corner and missed...I don't know how these guys can lay off pitches this close."

That's a nice shot of Duluth. Looks very nice. Good place to have a beer from the look of things. Not in winter, though. Maybe in July.

In July it is a zoo down there on weekends and at night time. Some more pics of Duluth.

Sort of keeping an eye on this place. It has gone down a little bit here and there. We looked at it later this past summer. Lots of potential...HUGE basement. And a good sized garage. Only thing is it needs a new septic. That is $15K down the crapper.

I agree it has potential. After the septic, the first order of business is paint. Maybe a dark red with white shutters. Gotta brighten that place up. If that bathroom isn't original, it's damn close. I'd probably leave it though and keep the dough. I like the kitchen.

I would gut that bathroom so freakin' fast. Put ceder in there like we did our current bathroom. Ahhhhhh the smell of ceder. And that is a wood burning fireplace, so that would help drastically cut down on the heating bill. We have all the free wood that we would need from my dads.

Cedar.

 :D

So the house is one great big rectangle with some walls in it? I think I could build that house ;)

Yup! A giant rectangle. 1/2 of the basement is (long way) is a straight shot, open the whole way with a bar on the side (needs lighting and work with asbestose tiles). Other side has the furnace, a workshop, storage etc.

Actually you can see in the second pic, that it isn't quite a rectangle.
