For the rear sills I think it would be best to keep it simple and have everyone agree to one. I was thinking we would have the following:

Front: SVT Contour, Contour, Mystique

Rear: #xxxx of xxxx, or plain

Does this satisfy the masses?

or is it

15 fronts +

Not sure on the plain ones yet

I'm waiting for someone to send me the fonts for the Saleen numbering and then I will put in the order for the samples.

I think it's all up in the air, maybe I should ask the question...

Do we want the #xxx of xxxx (or what have you) to be offset to the right, left or centered? Large font, small font.

I was thinking it may look better to offset it to the right side and put it in smaller font so it just shows up on the edge and doesn't overwhelm anything as if we made the font full size just like the front sills. Just a thought?

Maybe I should have continued these discussions in the *interest* thread before making an official GB thread. I didn't think there would be so much to consider. Oh well it is what it is. We will just have to make due with the way things are going.

We could if people wanted have the fronts a seperate GB so we could get it going, and then do the rears later, but if we do it all at once we would have savings in shipping.
 
I like the #xxxx of xxxx idea, but would also consider #xxxx/xxxx. I think it should be centered and the same size lettering as the front to avoid looking goofy when the front and rear doors are open (during a car show, etc?)
 
I think center would be best because if you do it to the left or right, I would think it would look weird with one side towards the back and the other side towards the front with them being on different sides of the car and all. Unless they came one left and one right, then they would be even on both sides (either both towards to the back or both towards the front).

I hope that made sense...

I'd rather have them etched than cut-out...I don't want to spend more time cleaning the doorsills w/ a toothbrush than it would take to clean the entire car. :blackeye:
