0-60... slow?

sorry it got deleted, i'll have to post a video on a closed course and show you again, it ran 10 seconds 0-60 without the secondary's kicking in.

that's why i wanted to watch it again though...thinking about it after the fact it didn't seem like they opened. from what i remember there would be a noticeable increase in how fast the rpm's climbed, and noise, once the secondaries opened. probably magnified in my car a little because of the lightened flywheel, but yeah you could definitely see/hear/feel when they opened stock or not.
 
If you search on Youtube "Ford Contour SVT 0-60" its the second one down. Just look in the description for someone saying they think their Saturn was faster. Thats the one :D

I'm happy to see that my Zetec is finally faster than an SVT ;)

Yeah thats the one, if you cant find it then i will pm you the link :) i have a full 3inch exhaust and a WAI and i can't feel the secondaries kick in and i honestly feel like my saturn had more power and it was only dyno'd at 122whp, i know by watching the videos on youtube my car is slower than stock SVT's with 195hp motor, it seems like it takes forever to get through 2nd gear.
 
it's hard to tell since you dumped the clutch and the rpms were already high. for example, when i'd be cruising at a normal rpm in 2nd (2k-2500), when you mash the pedal rpm's would climb to 35-3700 and then it'd be like someone flipped a switch once the secondaries opened.

VIDEOS WERE MADE GOING ONTO AN ON RAMP ONTO THE INTERSTATE SPEED LIMIT WAS 75MPH

it's been a long time since i've owned my car, but, i also spent 6 years driving it and IMO it doesn't look like the secondaries are opening.
