'07 Carlisle All-Ford Nationals

Hey guys... I don't think I'm going to be able to make it down. They want $45 for a field registration now... which is ridiculous. Plus, gas here just hit $3.30 a gallon. That means I'm going about $100+ just for gas, then add in tolls, food, and the hotel... I just don't have that kind of money. I'd really love to come too, but I just can't come up with over $400...

$3.30! :eek: It's $3.09 for premium here.
 
Yeah, friggin New York State. Like the income taxes and insurance premiums and no-fault auto insurance aren't bad enough, our gas prices are out of control. $3.30 for regular... premium is $3.50, just under $4 at some stations.

Anyways, take lots of pictures for me, I'll really be missing everyone. :(
 
That's incredible! Soon people won't be able to afford the gas to go to work.

I'll make sure to take extra pictures for you. You may not be there but we'll make sure you see all that goes on. Well, maybe not everything....

Matt, bummer!! But I understand too. BTW, Geoff is waiting on his check to come, then he will be registering his truck under CEG, too.:laugh: Wooot!!! Geoff makes the big time.:laugh:
 
Anyone need a hotel room? I agreed to book one with Brian (Brapple), and I don't want to pay for one if I won't be there. Someone, please? It's right in Carlisle.
 
oh GREAT!!! my frakin clutch decide it wanted to burn up today. fryed up a mile from my house so i had to get my dad to tow it back with the ranger. now ive gotta get to geather tons of money to get it fixed b4 carlisle. this sucks!!! : (
 
Anyone want that hotel room? I've sent a couple PMs to Brapple, he might be on vacation or something. It would really ease my mind to know I don't have to worry about it, especially w/ all this post-graduation junk going on.
 
My car is lookin better and better now....got her painted gunmetal gray....gettin the windows tinted...and ill be support CEG with the window stickers hahaha...no to mention my exhaust is done and all...this is gonna be one heck of a Carlisle this year

yeah I was at SZ .... I have posted in the threads where two different people asked about a place to stay and I have yet to hear anything yet ... oh well ...

I know everyones situation is different but I just drove about 2k miles and spend near $300 on gas, have to use premium now, you luckly can use regular ... it cost more then the hotel stay at SZ ..... and I am heading to Carlisle this weekend ....

but if you can't reason it then you can't, to bad you can't make it ... gas prices are about the same around here in CT also ... I think I filled up at $3.54 for 93 this morning ...
 
Well, if I make it...this will be the Mustang that comes with me.
