This IS eats Steedas for breakfast. 3 pedals > 2. Really hot car, I'm diggin it, especially the fact that it's not a gay automatic!

So THAT'S why you almost weren't going to come to the meet! Well you certainly surprised us Tony. Honestly, that car caught my eye before the other Contique's that rolled into the McDonald's parking lot...and I was actually LOOKING for the Contiques  .

Yeah, I was possibly going to pick up the car on Saturday but I got it done during the week instead. Took a sick day from work. :)

Congrats! So how many cars do you own now? Catching up to ElKy?

4 since the Mystique isn't technically mine. I'll soon be back down to 2 when the 00 SVT is sold and the 98 SVT parts car is junked.

that was posted for sale on clublexus.com and is300.net lol... good pick up... welcome to the lexus family.... haha

Really? I haven't checked out either of those sites yet. I've only been on my.IS forums.

Trust me, the automatics in these cars are awesome. E-shifts with steering wheel control = , it's just not for me. Most of the boosted IS300's on the forums are automatic since they are stronger (IIRC) and offer more upgrades. Minimum boosted power is about 450 rwhp....

Oddest wheels I've ever seen. Other than that nice. That price is screamin' !

Yeah, they wheels are not my top pick but they are pretty decent. Everyone I've showed the car so far likes them except me. Not sure if I'll keep them or not. They are brand new for 2007.

Luckly I was given the factory 17" wheels in the Charcoal color for the Charcoal Package and they have brand new tires on them, never used. What I'd love to know is why the previous owner put summer tires on BOTH sets of wheels so WTF do I do in the winter? :nonono:

stock tranny can hold 350 whp max... with a valve body upgrade.... you can have up to like 600 i think..... look up swift racing technologies(great turbo kits)..... theres also isfanatics.com.....

my first inspiration of an IS was visionboy.com... they're 720 WHP IS300.....

Yeah, it's crazy how cheap it is to boost these cars. Stock motor internals can support very high numbers.

I've seen the visionboy.com IS300.

How about this one that went up for sale recently? He's asking $29k for it with 749 whp and a 6 speed swap.

That is a sick IS300 Tony. Man, I don't think anyone knew you had purchqsed that car. When you pulled in the AMF I was like who is that? Def a nice find, the IS300 is one of my favorite cars. I love it man!!:D

I knew he was thinking of it a few weeks ago ... but didn't know that the deal had been made

Yeah, I had to look for another one after I talked to you. The one I wanted sold before I had to chance to get everything in order. I found this one and I'm much happier with it. 45k miles instead of 102k and has navigation while the other one didn't have it.

btw, it TOTALLY slipped my mind that a friend is selling an Intensa Blue Pearl IS300 with 82,xxx miles auto with intake headers and exhaust for $17k OBO

Yeah, I'm shopping on Tirerack right now and maybe grabbing some Dunlop Winter Sport M3's. $127 each or I can go with the Blizzak WS-50's I have for the SVT for $109 each. The WS-50 tire is just not grippy enough in dry conditions and doesn't like speeds over 80mph. Ice and deep snow traction is insane though.

A very nice find for sure, the red w/black rims w/polished lip are very nice, but this is the best part of the car, that thing in the middle that says "deck". I can send you Def Leppard "Pyromania" if you need to test it out:laugh:

"Comin' under fire" is a great tune. As are "Photograph and "Stagefright."
